Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead Review!
Synopsis: Lissa Dragomir is a Moroi princess: a mortal vampire with an unbreakable bond to the earth's magic. She must be protected at all times from Strigoi; the fiercest and most dangerous vampires--the ones who never die.

The powerful blend of human and vampire blood that flows through Rose Hathaway, Lissa's best friend, makes her a Dhampir; she is dedicated to a dangerous life of protecting Lissa from the Strigoi, who are hell-bent on making her one of them.

After two years of illicit freedom, Rose and Lissa are caught and dragged back to St. Vladimir's Academy, hidden in the deep forests of Montana. Rose will continue her Dhampir education. Lissa will go back to being Queen of the elite Moroi social scene. And both girls will resume breaking hearts.

Fear made Lissa and Rose run away from St. Vladimir's--but their world is fraught with danger both inside and out of the Academy's iron gates. Here, the cutthroat ranks of the Moroi perform unspeakable rituals and their secretive nature and love of the night creates an enigmatic world full of social complexities. Rose and Lissa must navigate through this dangerous world, confront the temptation of forbidden romance, and never once let their guard down, lest the Strigoi make Lissa one of them forever...

Review: This is the first book in the Vampire Academy Series and I have to say I quite enjoyed it. It was a very good introduction to the characters, background information, and the complications they are facing. I would recommend this people who obviously like paranormal/ fantasy and vampires. I was surprised that this book didn't go into depth about the challenges of being a vampire, such as feeding, which was a  refreshing change of pace from a lot of vampire books. There was also a lot of "drama" I guess you could say, kind of like high school drama with boys and friends and enemies. But it has its own twist. I really liked this book. Definitely go pick this one up. I give this book 4 out of 5 stars.

Passion by Lauren Kate Review!
Synopsis: "Luce would die for Daniel.

And she has. Over and over again. Throughout time, Luce and Daniel have found each other, only to be painfully torn apart: Luce dead, Daniel left broken and alone. But perhaps it doesn’t need to be that way…

Luce is certain that something—or someone—in a past life can help her in her present one. So she begins the most important journey of this lifetime… going back eternities to witness firsthand her romances with Daniel . . . and finally unlock the key to making their love last.

Cam and the legions of angels and Outcasts are desperate to catch Luce, but none are as frantic as Daniel. He chases Luce through their shared pasts, terrified of what might happen if she rewrites history.

Because their romance for the ages could go up in flames… forever."

Review: This is the third book in the Fallen series by Lauren Kate. I loved this book. The writing is amazing as always and the places they went were cool and described well. History was used a lot in this book. Which made it even more interesting to see what Luce and Daniel would do in those times. Loved the ending as well. Can not wait for the fourth book, Rapture, to come out June 12, 2012.

Teaser Tuesday! (late)
"Then all at once, everything came to a stop. Daniel opened his eyes and could hear his breathing. He felt tired but alert. The others were staring at him. He couldn't be sure whether they had any idea what had just happened. They all looked afraid to come near him, even to speak to him."
